The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together like a dance. YogaYoga FlowA dynamic yoga class based on the coordination of breath with movement. This fluid approach to yoga will get your body moving and is designed to both re-energize and invigorate you. The majority of the poses will be done standing and will include sun salutations, standing poses and balancing postures. Modifications will be made for all levels. |
