Nordic Walking is Canada's newest fitness crazy and it's easy to see why. This is fun, safe and easy to learn workout that will add a new challenge to your regular routine. It's suitable for all age groups and is ideal for year round outdoor exercise. You will experience simultaneous core and upper body conditioning and significantly enhanced aerobic effects quite similar to the feeling of cross-country skiing. The result is a full-body walking workout that expends significantly more calories!

Thursdays, April 4 – May 23, 9:30 - 10:30am or 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Saturdays, April 6 – May 25, 10:00 – 11:00 am
Location: various trails in Pickering, Scarboro and Ajax, sent out by weekly email.
Sessions are approx 60 min.
Poles are provided and also available for those who wish to purchase.
Locations will be sent out in weekly emails. We walk various locations in Pickering/Ajax and Scarborough.

I wanted to say a great big thank you for the personal training and Nordic walking training this year! I have had a really sporty and healthy summer thanks to your support getting me more fit. I am able to keep up with the adventurous (usually men only) paddling group at my cottage and we spent many hours in our kayaks and canoes exploring various the Gatineau-area waterways. Also I have got my husband and mother out using the Nordic poles, and I was able to Nordic walk the ski hill twice one day in the Rouge Park. It's great to feel more fit, especially when I can be outdoors.
