How to Join Our Live Fitness Classes

 HOW TO USE INSTAGRAM LIVE

FROM YOUR MOBILE DEVICE

Please note that Instagram Lives (current and past) can only be accessed by mobile.

  1. Sign into your Instagram account. (If you do not have an Instagram account, see tutorial here).
  2. Press the Search icon (magnifying glass). Search womensfitnessofficial and press Enter. Select womensfitnessofficial to go to our profile.
  3. Once on the womensfitnesofficial profile, press the "Follow" button. This will allow you to receive a notification whenever we go Live.
  4. If you do not receive a notification around class time, tap our profile picture (the round blue icon in the top left of our profile), which will have a colourful ring around it and the word Live.
  5. From there, you will enter the Live. Have fun!

Got to class late or didn't have a chance to tune in live? No problem! All classes will be shared to our Stories for up to 24 hours after the original Live stream. For more information on this, see Instagram's tutorial here.

Important note: we will also be sharing select previous live classes to our IGTV, which will be accessible by both mobile and desktop, soon. More information to come.

 HOW TO USE ZOOM

FROM YOUR COMPUTER

  1. In the Internet browser of your choice, type bit.ly/wfcczoom, then press Enter/Search at the indicated time of the class.
  2. From there, you will be prompted to either download or run Zoom on your computer.
  3. If you don't have Zoom, Download Zoom from the web page and follow the instructions provided by Zoom. If you do have Zoom, select Run Zoom. Follow the prompt, and you will be asked to enter a password (find the password on our schedule), and then you will enter the "Meeting" (class). Have fun!

FROM YOUR MOBILE DEVICE

  1. Download the Zoom app from your mobile device's app store.
  2. Next, open /Internet browsing app of your choice. Type bit.ly/wfcczoom, then press Enter/Search at the indicated time of the class.
  3. From there you will be prompted to open the Zoom app. Follow the prompt, and you will be asked to enter a password (find the password on our schedule), and then you will enter the "Meeting" (class). Have fun!

Please note that Zoom classes can only be accessed at the class time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: WHICH WOMENS FITNESS INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT DO I NEED TO FOLLOW TO JOIN THE WFCC CLASSES ON INSTAGRAM LIVE?

A: We currently have 6 Instagram accounts - one for each club, as well as a main united WFCC account. To join in on our Instagram Live classes, you will need to be following our main account, @womensfitnessofficial. That will allow you to receive a notification whenever we go live.
Q: I CAN'T MAKE IT TO CLASS ON TIME. WILL I BE ABLE TO WATCH THE WORKOUT AFTER THE LIVE STREAM IS FINISHED?
A: This depends on the class type and the platform. Due to licensing, Zumba, Strong by Zumba, and Socacize  classes will not be saved or accessible after the original Zoom live stream.
All classes taking place on Instagram Live (WFCC classes) will be accessible via our Instagram Stories up to 24 hours after the original live stream. We are also working to have select classes uploaded to our IGTV for longer-term access should you not be able to tune in within the 24 hour time frame.
Q: I DON'T HAVE AN INSTAGRAM OR ZOOM PROFILE. ARE THERE PLANS TO GO LIVE ON FACEBOOK TOO?
A: There are currently no plans to go live on platforms other than Instagram Live and Zoom. We are a small team and two platforms is what is manageable at this stage. We thank you for your understanding and hope you'll join us on Instagram and Zoom!
Q: ARE THE LIVE CLASSES ONLY AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS? CAN I INVITE A FRIEND TO JOIN TOO?
A: Currently classes are public and accessible to everyone. Invite your friends or family members to join in on our classes from the comfort of their homes! It's an excellent way to share a safe, endorphin-boosting common experience.
