Interactive and combative training that incorporates both technical aspects of the sport and high intensity anaerobic drills. Many people strength train with weights, while others do cardio or aerobics and somewhere in between is Afterburn, the ultimate fat loss workout. In this class we work around our babies schedules so sleeping, diaper changing, feeding, crying! all goes on throughout the class!Mommy and Baby Fitness Workout and Play are excited to offer our 2 hour class full of exercise, interaction, socializing and fun for you and your baby. We begin with a mom and baby warm up where we will hold our babies, lift them and utilize them as weights, interact with other moms and babies, sing and dance with our little ones and enjoy! If your baby is asleep at the beginning there are light weights for you to utilize as well!

Our Mom and Baby warm ups last up to approx. 15 mins. and at that time we will put our babies down either back into their car seats or strollers, or onto mats that are supplied and so your baby is right beside you. We also have a couple of "exersaucers" that are perfect for crawling and more mobile babies.

We continue with our "mommy only" work out - every week we will do a different fitness class for mom - quite intense but easy to follow and always post natal. Be prepared to sweat! We utilize the equipment in the studio including steps, balls, weights, body bars, etc.

Following the "mommy only" workout (approx. 20 mins.) we will bring our babies onto our mats with us and continue muscular strengthening and our cool down stretching and "mommy meditation"!

The fitness class is one hour.

After our work out we start our infant stimulation - our fun and famous huge repertoire of songs, rhymes, fingerplays, kneebouncers, bubbles, parachute games and fun for baby! You will receive a song and rhyme booklet as well - excellent to share at home!

The infant stimulation session is approx. 30 mins.
The last half hour of our class consists of a group discussion and occasional guest speakers.

This 6-week program combines punches, kicks and heavy bag work for an incredible full-body workout. You will learn how to punch, pad hold, and guard. You will also learn everything from easy to complex combinations. Additional muscle and motion exercises are incorporated to strengthen and tone!

You will have a blast and most importantly, reduce stress. If you have pads and gloves please bring them other wise they will be supplied.

Specialty Program Policies

The following policies and procedures have been set in order to provide great customer service while helping you stay motivated, achieve your goals & get the best quality of training possible.  They apply to all specialty programs unless otherwise indicated in writing.

There are no make-ups for Specialty Programs: In order to keep the cost low for the small group setting, and ensure that the number of participants in a group at any given time does not exceed the number guaranteed to make it a small group there are no exceptions that can be made to arrange other days and times.  Should you require more flexibility then Personal Training or drop-in options may be a better alternative for you.

The trainer or instructor is subject to change: Our goal is to keep your exercise schedule consistent and keep your motivation going so at times a substitute instructor may be covering for your regularly scheduled instructor.  Due to some unforeseen circumstances, a group may be taken over by another instructor in order to best accommodate those currently enrolled in the group.

Advance registration is necessary: Since the groups are based on a limited number of participants we cannot hold a spot for a client without taking a payment.  Likewise, should not enough people register for a group in advance it will be cancelled.

Duration of group may be altered:  The groups require a minimum number of registrants in order to operate for the full time as advertised.  Should a group not meet the minimum number, the option will be given to the member to continue as a semi-private or private session.  This may require an additional charge and/or shorter session.

Session Discounts:  Certain programs may offer a discounted fee for making a longer commitment to the program. You will only receive the discounted fee when that option has been selected at the time you register.  We cannot adjust fees should you opt to continue on to a longer commitment after the fact.
