Areas of PracticeMy clients are from all walks of life, yet they share the desire to add the benefits of weight and strength training to their already active lifestyles. Everyday life is a workout by itself, even if you’re not training. My focus is to make you feel better and more confident, by building lean muscle to make you appear leaner, stronger, and fitter. I specialize in functional training with weights. I love using the Gravity training system the most, as well as incorporating Kick boxing and interval training.
ExperienceI have been a Certified Personal Trainer at the Womens Fitness Clubs of Canada since 2008. I have been Personal Training for the past 20 years at the West End Gym in Montreal.
PhilosophyI was always involved with sports and physical activities from a young age. But like many people, I became less active in my teens and college years. After the birth of my daughter, I started a vigorous program of training and never looked back. At that point I was often guiding friends into the unfamiliarity territory of the gym. Moving to Toronto made it easier for me to embrace my passion and to help other people.

I have been training with Josee close to 8 years. It all began with the weekly challenges and turned into personal training. Josee has helped me accomplish so many goals that I never thought I could’ve achieved. She has an amazing ability to alter any exercise to fit my needs. If I have an injury, she can switch things up on the spot and do exercises that accomplish the same thing, in a different way. We have not only a client trainer relationship, but a friendship as well. We have shared many situations over the years happy and sad and she always understands if I have to change or cancel sessions. I love the different challenges she produces for me; the sessions are never boring or repetitive. My training with Josee for 8 years should say something about her ability as a trainer and a very likeable person. I know and feel the difference compares when I work out by myself and when Josee trains me.
