Areas of Practice

My background as a dancer and athlete drive my commitment to promoting fitness and postural health as a Certified fitness instructor and personal trainer. It has also motivates my vocation as a dance teacher, choreographer and performer. As a physiotherapist, I bring specialized training in biomechanics, alignment issues, conditioning and kinesthetic awareness and rehabilitation to all my classes.

I have grown up dancing competitively, performing nationally and internationally, teaching and choreographing. I completed my Communications degree at York University with special interest in Dance Kinesiology and further my Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. I have studied with Master teachers in Los Angeles in dance and body technique and toured Canada as assistant to various dance conventions. I have been teaching group fitness classes throughout the province, but specifically for Women’s Fitness since 2008. I attend the annual Canfit-pro and dance medicine conferences to further my education.

Coming from the world of dance and fitness, I strive on bringing out the inner energy of each individual. No matter from what age or level, my goal is to help women find their strength while having fun. Why not dance, sweat and live? I believe in knowledge and the more educated a participant is in their training, the more attainable their goals are.
