Pickering Group Exercise Coordinator and Group Fitness Instructor
With a Bachelor of Applied Arts at Ryerson and 15 years climbing the corporate ladder, I made a complete career change and moved into the fitness industry. I was certified to teach group fitness in 2001 and have never looked back. I helped to launch the Group Exercise Program at Women’s Fitness, Pickering.
My personal passion and zest is for group fitness. I love to motivate participants to achieve their health and fitness goals. My goal for the Group Exercise Program at Womens Fitness is to keep it fresh, challenging and safe for all participants. I want to give the members exposure to quality classes with lots of variety and exceptional instructors!
Certifications & Achievements
I am certified through Can-Fit-Pro and also have First Aid and CPR Training. I continually attend workshops and conferences staying current in the fitness industry. I teach a variety of group exercise classes on the schedule including Step, Hi/Lo Remix, Muscle Conditioning, Tabata, P90X, Cycling and TriggerPoint Training. I am certified in P90X, Jillian Michael's Bodyshred, Triggerpoint Training, Reebok, Reactive and Schwinn Cycling.
I feel that it is important to keep my classes fresh and exciting while encouraging members of all levels to participate!
