200 Hour Yoga Teacher Canadian Yoga Alliance Standard First Aid – CPR A - AED
I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years. Two years ago I answered the calling and took the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher training with Balance Life Yoga in Ajax. I have always enjoyed anything related to the natural movement of the human body and participated in dance and rhythmic gymnastics when I was younger. When I discovered yoga 15 years ago, I immediately fell in love with this ancient practice that enriches the entire physical, mental and spiritual body.
I have been teaching at the Lakeview Club in Oshawa as well as my home studio for over a year now. I look forward to offering this beautiful practice to the members at the Women’s Fitness Club in Ajax.
With more than 100 hours of teaching experience and continuous learning, I strive to bring enthusiasm, compassion, balance and love into each yoga practice. I focus on proper alignment, anatomy, creative and fun sequencing, listening to your own body and being present. I offer hands-on adjustments and modifications to honour each student’s individual physical capabilities and practice levels. No matter what reason brings you to your mat - physical, mental or both, always start off your class by being grateful to be here. Then allow your breath to trigger the parasympathetic system to bring healing and nurturing to the body.
