I started off going to the gym lifting weights and using the cardio machines to get into shape. I stepped into my first Zumba class having the same fears as everyone else. Thinking, how am I going to keep up? How am I gonna follow the instructor? What if I go left and everyone else goes right. All those feelings of doubt quickly melted away and I fell in love with it. That sparked my passion. In 2016, I took the Zumba basics 1 course to become a licensed Zumba instructor and started teaching a couple months later. In 2017, I took the Strong by Zumba course not really knowing what to expect since I had only seen a few videos of it. After that day, I knew that this was an amazing full body workout class and I needed to teach it.
