Areas of Practice

I’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with well-known Zumba Instructors such as Jonathan Benoit from Montreal, Prince and Madelle Paltu-Ob from the Philippines, Rony Gratereaut from Puerto Rico and Auguste Junke from Lithuania just to name a few. I actively attend masterclasses to make sure I am educating myself on how to enhance all of my classes. I strive to learn and grow to make sure students look forward to my classes.

Experience

I have been dancing since before I could walk. I do competitive dancing growing up since the age of 4! Dancing is not only my passion but runs through my blood. Growing up in a Spanish household, it has helped me understand the roots of the Latin flavours that are involved in the rhythms that are derived in Zumba. I was introduced to Zumba when I was 17 and fell in love with the idea of dancing as an idea of sweating those pounds off. I then made the best decision of my life and got certified as an Zumba instructor by Ricardo Marmitte. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with well-known Zumba Instructors such as Jonathan Benoit from Montreal, Prince and Madelle Paltu-Ob from the Philippines, Rony Gratereaut from Puerto Rico and Auguste Junke from Lithuania just to name a few. I actively attend masterclasses to make sure I am educating myself on how to enhance all of my classes. I strive to learn and grow to make sure students look forward to my classes.

Philosophy

Philosophy ‘No pain, no gain isn’t the philosophy of Zumba – in Zumba, you don’t smile, you don’t gain!’ - Beto Perez
