3 Sneaky Ways To Get Fit At Your Desk

Ah, summer. The sun is shining. The temperatures are rising. The birds are singing…. Annnnd you’re stuck at your desk. That doesn’t mean you can’t still boost your energy and get those endorphins going. Try this simple, effective workout at your desk.

The following 3 moves were hand-picked by WFCC’s resident fitness expert and Personal Training Director, Shira James. They require no equipment and are perfect to help you fit a burst of fitness into your work routine.

Expert tips to consider:

-Do all movements slow and controlled

-Exhale on the hard part of the movement, inhale on the easier part of movement

-Keep core embraced through all movements

-Do 10 reps, 5 sets per movement

Move 1: Tricep dips

Works arms, triceps, shoulders, core

Move 2: Push ups

Works chest, shoulders, arms,  core

Move 3: Squats

Works quads, hamstrings, glutes, core
