Cadence Cycle at WFCC Burlington

Cadence Cycle is a premium indoor cycling experience that is more than your average spin class. The time flies by with intervals, hills, sprints and fun choreographed core and arm exercises all designed to music. This full-body 45-minute workout on a stationary bike is designed for all experience levels and the ride is specifically designed to encourage cardio and strength development while considering the physiological limits of the body to prevent injury. Not just a physical workout, this ride will energize your mind, body and soul.

Cyd

Registered Physiotherpist,
PT, MScPT

She believes that her former career as a professional equestrian in the Netherlands and her background in competitive sport, lend to her love of helping clients surpass their goals; she is always motivating them to get outside of their comfort zone! Cyd is the first to admit that she has a big personality and loves to create an exciting and dynamic experience. Expect to hear big drops and eclectic music in her classes!

 
Cyd is a mother of two (one daughter and one furbaby) and feels fortunate to be able to balance her work as a Registered Psychotherapist with a fitness career. She knows that living a healthy life is comprised of both psychological and physiological components and she believes strongly that we are always searching for the perfect balance. Two of Cyd’s favourite quotes are “Movement is Medicine” (Carol Welch-Baril) and “Life is Movement” (Alfred Adler) which she embodies wholeheartedly!

Brittney

As a goal-oriented individual, she will get you where you want to be and help you exceed your own expectations. She exemplifies that fitness is more than a hobby, it is a lifestyle choice.
 
In addition to her role as a Cadence Cycle instructor, Brittney is the Director of group fitness at WFCC and you can expect great vibes and fun pop music in her classes. She embraces the quote “It’s supposed to be hard. If it were easy, everyone would do it” – Jimmy Dugan, Justice League Of Their Own.

Charlotte

She brings high energy and big smiles to every class. As a mom of two, she understands the importance of balance, motivation and making time for movement.
 
Charlotte’s classes are known for their heavy climbs, big beats and that post-ride high. If you love a good EDM remix and heavy resistance, you’ll feel right at home in her class. Charlotte is all about pushing riders to find their strength and endurance with every beat. When she’s not on the bike or in the gym, you’ll find her spending time with her family, reading, or enjoying the outdoors.

Nicole

Registered Physiotherpist,

24 years later and she is still going strong! Her passion for fitness is fuelled by an equal love for helping others reach their health goals. Through keeping her classes fresh and fun, combined with a strong ability to motivate others, her participants of all fitness levels are guaranteed to have a great sweat…and come back for more! 

Nicole specializes in cycle, aerobic kickboxing, sculpt, step and HIIT classes. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting and running. As a proud mama of two, she is a firm believer that “Exercise doesn’t take away time from your life… it adds quality to your time”. Encompassing a fit lifestyle has helped Nicole thrive in all that life has to offer, especially motherhood! She believes that having a healthy body and mind is the guiding light in revealing one’s true sense of self. 

Nahla

She strives to create unforgettable riding experiences and will connect the body and the mind.
 
Nahla is a passionate and energetic instructor and translates that passion to the podium. Her energy is infectious and she aims to help you build strength and turn you into a lifelong cycling fan! She will challenge you, change your mindset and elevate your ride.

Sharryl

 

She has mastered skills to teach a variety of class formats, which makes her a very versatile instructor. In addition to teaching cycle classes, one of her all consuming passions has been creating and implementing unique and therapeutic fitness programs for children and youth living with Austism Spectrum Disorder. 

Outside of fitness, she had a 20 year career as Program Manager, Youth Case Manager, Counselor and Custody Correctional Officer for the Youth Justice Act. She is passionate about Interior Design/Home Decor/Antiquing and creating beautiful environments. She also loves traveling with her spouse (a Juno Award Winning vocalist for top Canadian Dance Recording). 
This mother of 2 young adult boys and 4 incredible fluffy cats, can’t wait to see you on the bike!
